You can advertise your business in our glossy, full-colour programme! A copy is given to
everyone who attends the pantomime and they are welcome to take it with them. The
capacity of Barkway Village Hall is 126, not including staff (which includes the actors) - so you
could easily reach 400 potential customers who appreciate your support for a local
endeavour.
The programme format is A5. Advertising rates are modest: a quarter page is £15, half page
£25, and full page £50. We usually go to press during the second half of January. Contact us
for more information. See last year’s programme, by way of example, below.

Support The Barkway Players
The Barkway Pantomime traditionally supports Barkway Village Hall, a registered
charity, which hosts our rehearsals and performances. The Hall itself is run by
volunteers and the Pantomime is its second-biggest fundraiser after the annual
Barkway Market. Such fundraising maintains the Hall and allows it to continue to
operate as a community resource which people can hire at modest rates.
In 2019 Barkway Village Hall decided to install improved and much more modern and
efficient LED stage lighting, which will hugely benefit the Players as well as other users
of the Hall. That’s an expensive project which will more than consume the proceeds
from two annual pantomimes.
The Players have their own expenses which vary from year to year, including the cost of
material for costumes and scenery, professional musicians etc. Our online ticketing
facility has proved very popular since it was introduced in 2017 but it, too, costs money.
You can help in various ways .
